Even though you know the killer from the beginning, the author crafts such a compelling story that this doesn't impact on the enjoyment of the story. Definitely will read more by this author!

A wonderful book set in Sechelt. It captures the essence of how an ordinary person can do a terrible thing, and the amibiguity of the feelings of the people who care for him. As Michael Chrichton put it, "No man is so good as to be free from all evil, nor so bad as to be worth nothing."
