A great thriller that provides background for both Louis and Angel. I loved the writing and tempo of the story and its relentless action. Pass this one by if violence upsets you.

Charlie Parker is a side character in this one. All about Louis and Angel and revelations about Louis' life and what precipitated his becoming an assassin for hire. I've read 12 of these stories and have no intention to stop until I've read them all. I already know I will mourn when I have finished. An excellent writer and intense plots.

Did not finish. The subject of assasins as being good guys does not appeal to me.

Very dark and sinister book has a love story with a twist. Personally, I loved this book and will now backtrack to read all John Connolly's books.

I love all of John Connolly's books. Especially the ones with Charlie Parker, Louis and Angel as the main characters.

A great read with great character development. Not a lot of Charlie Bird in this one. This book is all about the killer Louis and his partner Angel. Both I find likeable at the end of the book.
